The icons available on the touch screen can be programmed through LARA to control room equipment such as projector, screen and lighting.

Powered by the Taurus product family, it augments the Microsoft Teams Rooms experience by allowing users to effortlessly integrate their personal laptops with the room’s meeting system. This enables flexible content sharing together with access to lighting, projector and shade controls from a single control panel.
Automatic and Manual Source Selection
During MTR Call
During an ongoing meeting, the room peripherals (like cameras, audio devices) are always connected to the MTR, while laptops only function as sources.
During Out of Call
The connected laptops can receive the meeting room peripherals as BYOD clients, which can be done manually or automatically.
Room Contol Functions
Using the touchpanel allows control over the following functions within the meeting room:
- Displays on/off
- Projector on/off
- Projector screen on/off
- Light control on/off
Additional room control functions are under development.

Additional functions can be introduced to further enhance meeting room capabilities with the Lightware Companion App. Lightware Taurus Switchers have also been validated for use by a wide range of leading meeting room technology manufacturers, including Lenovo, Poly, Logitech, Yealink and Barco.
By configuring the Lightware Companion App on a Microsoft Teams Rooms PC and integrating the Companion module within Lightware Advanced Room Control (LARA), additional functions can be introduced to enhance the capabilities of the meeting room.
This solution can be integrated with any Windows-based Microsoft Teams Rooms system for seamless hybrid meeting experiences.
