Our AV-Over-IP system for Gigabit Ethernet networks, the VINX series devices are popular products, ranging from simple to complex virtual matrix switching systems that have diverse application possibilities, especially recommended for applications where scalability, flexibility and rapid deployment are in focus. They are simple to install and operate, and have numerous built-in services that most other manufacturers only provide for an extra cost.
The open API of the VINX devices allow easy integration with third party systems.
Crosspoint View
Available in both the free Lightware Device Controller (LDC) management software and the built-in web.
Video Wall Wizard
The signal can also be switched to a video wall output from several VINX units and acting as a single display.
Easy Pairing
For pairing the units there are physical DIP switches on front, so matching them in a network could not be easier.
Systems with up to 50 Endpoints
VINX can be expanded from a simple to a complex application for the ultimate in virtual matrix switching, digital signage and signal extension.
Built-in USB 2.0 ports
The built-in USB 2.0 ports support K+M function and can also handle USB mass storage.
Advanced EDID Management
The extenders include our Advanced EDID Management system and decoders are capable of scaling the video signal up to 4K UHD @ 30 Hz. RS-232 and IR control channels are supported.
HDCP compliant
The units are HDCP compliant and their streaming maximum bit rate is variable between 10 Mbps and 800 Mbps. The feature options include gap and bezel adjustment and cropping which can be performed in batch.
VINX has an option for password-protected login.
End-users and integrators are required to use a password to configure their devices, which provides protection against unauthorized access.
Smart Bandwidth Management
Variable Bitrate, Video and Graphic Modes
The built-in, selectable Video and Graphic Modes optimize streaming and compression to match the transferred media.
The Variable Bitrate feature provides an even more accurate adjustment option for smart bandwidth management.
Silent Operation
The efficient design of all VINX models allows passive, fanless cooling. Unlike other third party models in this product category, VINX have noiseless operation, fitting even the most silent application environments.

Ultimate Versatility in Audio Signal Management
The new VINX-120AP-HDMI-ENC-DNT features independent AES67 support. This unique, future-proof solution allows operators to easily adopt to any scenario where audio signal management is in focus, besides of video capabilities, regardless of the actual intercompatibility between these two standards.
The separate RJ-45 port in the new VINX device carries two-fold advantage. First, it allows immediate audio signal de-embedding from the HDMI source that can be then directly sent to an external, Dante/AES67 capable audio system.
This offers a huge benefit for operators, especially in the growing number of live event and corporate environments that already utilize the features of these two standards. Second, the additional RJ-45 interface has its own MAC address separate from the video port, therefore eliminate relevant, IT security related concerns.

Rewatch webinarFast Switching
One of the key improvements achieved in the VINX product line is a remarkable boost in the devices’ switching times. Compared to the previously experienced switching intervals, with enabled scaling of non-HDCP video, from the firmware update of v3.2.x allows to switch signals about a second, thus significantly improving user experience.
Unchanged Versatility
These features include silent, fan-less cooling for noise-free operation, Video Wall processing, Smart Bandwidth Management as well as crosspoint view that allows easy configuration either by using the Lightware Device Controller (LDC) software or via the built-in website for remote IP control whilst the device can also be powered remotely via any PoE standards.
Remote Powering
When connected to a Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) capable switch, there is no need for installing and connecting a local power supply to power the WP-VINX-110P-HDMI-ENC. Hence valuable space can be conserved which is a major advantage in wallplate applications.
Improve College Workflow via Digital Signage
Lightware's digital signage and control room solutions are here to enhance college workflow, improve student experiences, and showcase technological advancements.
Digital signage is a powerful instrument that automates multiple manual processes and replaces the need for physical noticeboards for schedules, announcements, and other information. It allows remote operation, management, and control.
With Lightware’s award-winning AV-over-IP VINX extension solution, educational venues can build up to 50 endpoints in a digital signage ecosystem operating in cost-effective 1Gb networks. Its open API enables easy integration with 3rd party systems.
VINX extenders are simple to install and operate, whilst boasting a plethora of free features that other manufacturers will charge extra costs.
